#gameofthrones I've not been terribly excited by the Game of Thrones video games we've seen to date. I am, however, terribly excited by this single image, showing one man's dream for a stylish 2D fighter based on the heroes of Westeros. More »

#gameofthrones It's the biggest thing in fantasy, and right now, with the possible exception of The Hunger Games, the biggest thing in entertainment, especially with its second season about to kick off this weekend. So why has George R R Martin's Game of Thrones series been given such short shrift by video game publishers and developers? More »

#gameofthrones Game of Thrones returns to HBO this Sunday, and at last our burning questions will be answered. For some of us, those questions include, "What happens next to Arya and Sansa in the wake of their father's death?" For others of us, they're more like, "How can a television show possibly capture everything that happens in George R.R. Martin's A Clash of Kings?" Either way, we're happy to tell you that we've seen the first four episodes of the season, and we don't think you'll be disappointed. More »

#gameofthrones The upcoming Game of Thrones RPG would like to remind you there's more to it than music and combat. There's also a story, and dialogue, and sadly dialogue that isn't being spoken by the amazing James Cosmo. More »

#gameofthrones You know what would be awesome? A game that played like Dragon Age but featured locations and characters from George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series of books (now a major television series). Watching this combat trailer for Cyanide Studio's Game of Thrones role-playing game, I'd say that dream might soon be a reality. More »

#gameofthrones I haven't yet been able to track down a copy of the new Game of Thrones board game, let alone carve out four to eight hours to sit down and play through a game. But from the sound of things, that might be for the best. Not because it's bad, but because it requires so much deviousness and backstabbery that it can cost you your real-life friends. More »
