- 164,110 copies sold in its first week
- Media-Create claims this equals 90.02% of all copies of the game
Remember, that was the first week sales numbers. By this time I’m sure 100% of those copies have now been sold to consumers. Looks like Nintendo got the numbers right this time around. Still, [...]
I don't know why it is, but although gamers have a very healthy appetite for nostalgia, we often turn to hostility when someone announces a re-release. Suddenly a much-loved title becomes a soulless cash-in, a brazen attempt to fleece the masses by selling them something they might possibly have played before. Never has this strange attitude been more evident than at this year's E3 a show full of re-release and remake news...
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of those titles that most gamers have played countless times. From the original Nintendo 64 version to Master Quest on the GameCube to the Virtual Console release on Wii, we've had ample opportunity to replay this timeless classic...
This goes to show just how little I pay attention to what’s going on around me while I’m playing a game! Reports are coming in concerning a wifi glitch with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Apparently, some people are saying that all wifi activity ceases while they are playing Ocarina [...]
We received a lot of emails yesterday from anxious readers, who had all registered their copies of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D with Club Nintendo for their free soundtrack discs (as announced in the E3 keynote), but weren't getting the email confirmations from Nintendo. And then the site crashed. As this was a first-come-first-serve offer, the lack of communication was disturbing. Readers reported yesterday that only a call to Nintendo customer service (on a Sunday!) would resolve the issue.
Today, Nintendo updated the page for the offer, extending the cutoff to "midnight, Pacific Time on Monday June 20, 2011" -- we're contacting Nintendo to clarify if that meant last night or tonight. We tested the deal and have yet to receive email confirmation ourselves, but Nintendo's page says, "You will receive an email confirmation within 7 days to confirming we have placed your order." It also says that everyone who registered before midnight Pacific on June 20 will receive a CD.
my *crag*ing god. This is like almost as fast as the Japanese original. IMAGINE HOW FAST THE SPEEDRUN WOULD BE ON JAPANESE 3D VERSION. DEAR LORD EVEN WITH GLITCH DIFFERENCES THE TEXT SPEED IS GOING TO MAKE THE RUN SO MUCH FASTER.
Oh goodie! Skipping the owl won't matter much now.

Last Thursday, Japanese nerd hero Shoko Nakagawa bought The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. She wasn't alone; the game sold out at stores across the country. She was ecstatic. More »
Last week, we told you that some of our friends in Europe were having trouble with the soundtrack registration link for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. It seems that the same snafu happened in North America. A handful of people registered their copy of the game after midnight, but they [...]
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D comes out in North America in just a few hours. Can you believe we’re almost to one of the biggest 3DS games yet?! While most of the content was in the original, there are a few new things to look forward to. For example, [...]
Also Bottle Duplication and swordless link are back, oh and theres a new Water Temple early break involving epona. It's kinda funny how getting rid of ISG doesn't mean shit anymore.
The flurry of trailers reminding you of your long-time love for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time wasn't enough to get you excited for the 3DS remake? The latest TV ad, starring Robin Williams, his daughter (named Zelda, after the 1987 NES game), and his incredible grey mane should do it!
