Paper Mario: Sticker Star, the latest in Mario's deceptively flat RPG series, will arrive on 3DS in North America on November 11, Nintendo announced today. Along with that major news, the company also announced some new games for North America, along with their dates.

A new Style Savvy game, called Style Savvy: Trendsetters, will come to 3DS Oct. 22. The 3DS update of Art Academy, called Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, is due October 1. Crosswords Plus, a collection of over 1,000 crossword puzzles, will be out October 1. And perhaps most exciting, Professor Layton will don the Miracle Mask October 28.

Check after the break for the full rundown on new 3DS and DS game dates.

My personal favorite mario rpgs are the M&L games. Excellent storylines, memorable characters, and a nice difficulty level. I just hope that Fawful didn't actually die.

Mario's Super Sticker Collection
On the day of the annual Sticker Fest, Bowser decides to pull a prank and scatters six Royal Stickers across the land. To retrieve these mysterious, magical stickers, which are now stuck onto Bowser and his underlings, Mario sets off on an adventure with Kersti, a sticker fairy, visiting prairies, deserts, forests, snowy mountains and volcanoes around the world.
Features:
Stickers are blended into every aspect of game play. They become your arsenal of items and attacks in traditional Paper Mario action-battles and can even unfold the environment to reveal new areas and ways to progress through the game.
Collect stickers by peeling them off their environment, buying them in shops, or even making your own, and store them in your notebook for later use.
"Paper"-ize the world by flattening it out and then use your stickers to find secret areas and hidden items just about anywhere in the game.
The papercraft setting of the game is really emphasized in 3D, giving you the feeling of peering into and exploring a world comprised of shoebox dioramas.
A cast of colorful characters will keep players laughing at every turn.

Not very fond of the name or the story so far. Any thoughts?

Paper Mario 3DS is a hotly anticipated title, but it could also end up being the best use of the 3DS' 3D effect yet. The paper nature of the game should lend to dimensions very well, and when that's mixed with polygonal landscapes to traverse, the overall 3D impact could be quite amazing indeed.

Although Mario often gets pigeonholed as the platformer guy, he actually has a long and rich history in the RPG genre. Starting 15 years ago with Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Mario's RPG adventures have spawned three different series: Super Mario RPG, the Paper Mario series, and the Mario & Luigi series...
