We always knew Duke's job was tough, but it looks like you can add one more responsibility to his list of duties (hehe, duties) in Duke Nukem Forever: killing clones. With so many Dukes running around recklessly, we get the need for a Duke cleaner-upper, but we'd be lying if we didn't say we fear some kind of Jet Li The One type of invincible Super Duke rising from this conflict. Don't say we didn't warn you.

Anyone who has experienced Duke Nukem 3D undoubtedly has fond memories of the shrink ray. There's nothing quite as satisfying as shrinking an alien bastard and stepping on him with Duke's mighty boot. In Duke Nukem Forever, however, it looks like the shoe is on the other (gigantic) foot.

#video Shrink Ray technology, a Duke Nukem staple, will return in next month's Duke Nukem Forever, providing ample opportunity for the action star to crack wise about his wang and make innuendo about things that are tiny. More »

The “Shrinkage” trailer, embedded below, made me laugh. But it made me laugh in that way where the end of the laugh ends up being a sigh. And maybe I wasn’t really smiling at all.(more…)

Gearbox has released the PC specifications for Duke Nukem Forever and, unfortunately, you won't quite be able to get away with a 14-year-old graphics card. PC players can squeak by with one gig of RAM and either an Nvidia GeForce 7600 or an ATI Radeon HD 2600. Sorry, but it looks like its finally time for an upgrade from that Voodoo Banshee.

Well, this is a surprise. After more than a decade of highlighting Duke Nukem Forever's infantile appeal, its creators have released a trailer that focuses on Duke's struggle with his own emotional journey through -- ha! Just kidding. Boobs and pee await in this NSFW trailer posted after the jump.

#nsfw If you're just catching up with this whole Duke Nukem Forever thing, this brand new video of Gearbox Software and 3D Realms' game in action sums up this puerile first-person shooter beautifully. It's all here: pig-faced aliens, catchphrases, monster trucks, first-person urinating, schoolgirls making out, blood, gore, and—of course—strippers. More »

Ten new screenshots have just appeared for Duke Nukem Forever. (As someone who’s been doing this job for twelve years, I’m still unable to shake the feeling of absurdity that comes with believing that the game is genuinely coming out this year. Just typing those words feels like folly.) You’ll probably want to look at them. Will they be insanely sexist? Maybe they’ll feature animals being tortured? Well, almost disappointingly, no. But one of them has the word “cock”? You can see them all below, and if you’d only bloody well click on them they’d get all big.

Ever get the feeling you’re being played? The latest crudity salvo from the Duke Nukem Forever marketing cannon is this ‘babes’ trailer. If anyone was expecting a chauvinism climb-down following the controversy around the optional bottom-slapping in the ‘capture the babe’ multiplayer mode, they’re certainly not getting it. The following video is just about safe for work, but it is entirely, consciously puerile. (more…)

Assuming you're not already holding on to a fourteen-year-old pre-order slip for Duke Nukem Forever, Amazon just might have a deal for you. The online retailer is currently offering a $10 video game credit with all pre-orders of the Duke's latest outing (which was recently delayed again, incidentally). The credit applies to all available platforms.

If you plan on snagging a copy for the Xbox 360, you might also look into a new one-year Xbox Live Gold subscription, which Amazon is offering for $40, a savings of $20 over the usual price. After all, you can't play the new butt-slapping multiplayer without Xbox Live, now can you?
