Look at how far we've come! After launching on November 17, 2006, and introducing players memorable experiences, the PlayStation 3 is about to be replaced by a new generation. PlayStation 4 launches on Friday.

As epic as the PS3 library ended up becoming, we remember how things kicked off. Launching new hardware can sometimes be a shaky proposition, typically resulting in less-than-stellar "Day One" games.
