The Contest Crew over at LBPCentral.com are back with a new Crown Contest: LBPC10 – A Stitch in Time. The challenge this time is to create a level based on the theme of time travel.
The level must feature at least two different time zones and contestants must build an original and stylish time machine to warp between the two zones. Other than that the only limits are those of imagination… and the general space time continuum!
The contest is for BOTH LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and there will be a winner selected from each game. These two winners will be awarded a Rare Prize Crown and the LittleBigPlanet Central Pin! For more details and the full rules of the contest, hop on over to LBPCentral.com.
We have a brand new selection of LittleBigPlanet 2: Mm Picks for you to check out – This week we have a fast-based arcade shooter, a hardcore run and gun adventure from the days of old and a platformer that sees Sackboy climbing the North Tower of the Calamitous Clock.
Nightingale – Northern Flights is an amazing arcade game that sees the player taking the helm of the titular Nightingale, as the craft speeds across colorful skies and through dark and devious bases to stop the diabolical group known as the Harbringer in an intense shoot out of epic proportions!
Mr_Hijinx is back this week with another retro game creation in Peace Denied. This game has an incredible old-school vibe with an 8-bit design and quite the insane level of difficulty! It’s quite possible to complete though and a handful of extremely skilled players have managed to complete the challenge. Have you got what it takes to join them?
For our last level this week, we join Sackboy in an adventure that sees him ascending the North Tower of the Calamitous Clock. This level sees Sackboy armed with the power to shift the cogs and machinery to clear his path up the tower. It’s quite a mind-boggling twist to the classic gameplay usually seen in Sackboy’s platforming adventures.
