Wait, Texas has a law criminalising truancy? Over here you'd just get excluded for a certain amount of time, or permanently if you missed too many.

In Virginia they don't do shit becuase they just give you an ISS(In school Suspension), but either way if you skip ten days of class you have so much work piled up you are gaurenteed to fail the class.
