The server is indeed running 24/7, but for some reason it stops letting users connect as soon as I logout from the shell.

Turns out my bad coding broke something somewhere. Reverted to an older build of the server and everything appears to be working fine now.

the shell has to be open 24/7.

@Nastasia: If you are referring to a bug or lag, then I can't see it. If you're referring to the lack of features, I was unable to make my custom server run on linux and had to use vanilla.
@mariodude: You can keep programs running after you close the shell if you use screen to put them in the background.

No, i was stuck in a glass box in a giant hole. if my *crag*ing hacking client worked i would just float out of that shit but it's not working so I can't do anything.

I'm not sure how that got there, but I've add a way out of the box and up to the surface. Also, the main post now has a status image.
